In 2005, the Indianapolis Star began a campaign to push for voter ID. The Indiana legislature tends to do what the Star wants, and passed a bill, which has been at work for 10 years now.
In the past month, there have been 5 decisions in 4 states finding that voter ID, as enacted, is unlawful. The decisions range from requiring alternatives, such as an affidavit, to blocking the programs completely. Texas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Wisconsin again, and today North Dakota have found serious problems with voter ID, as violating the Voting Rights Act, the 14th Amendment, the 15th Amendment, and the North Dakota Constitution.

So I looked to see how the Star as covering these cases. Unless I missed something in my searching, there's been no mention at all.
