Bob Bauer is now counsel to president Obama. This is good news for the county.
It remains to be seen whether Bauer wi ll be asked for advice, or just be used as a hired gun. In cases such as Emily's List, Bauer has been an advocate for free speech for democrats, sort of an inverse of Jim Bopp.
