Brennan center for injustice editorial says the following:
Established by the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1974, the Federal Election Commission’s (FEC) six commissioners are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate, with no more than three members to be affiliated with one political party.
Is that right?
If so, here are my reccommendations for Bush:
John McCain (GOP)
Russ Feingold (D)
Ralph Nader (G)
Richard Winger (L.)

Hasen says Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed would be a good parting gift for Brad Smith. Smith is from Ohio, where the governor recently pled guilty to three counts of not filing the right forms to disclose gifts. If (as is unlikely; I rarely buy new books) I sent Smith the book, what paperwork would be required?
Book blurb is free online in annoying pdf format. Actually seems more mean than enlightening, oh well.
