A 19th Amendment issue over voter ID in Texas.

Adding another wrinkle to the plan, women in Texas must show original documents of the name change: a marriage certificate, a divorce certificate, or a court-ordered name change certificate -- and no photocopies are allowed.

Not a filed case yet, just an issue. I wonder what the standard of review is in 19th Amendment cases. Aside from 1937 Breedlove v Suttles, somewhat discredited over time, there don't seem to be any Supreme Court cases about it. So somebody could get a  footnote in the history books challenging Texas's voter ID on 19th A. grounds.

here are blog posts making the same points.
