I've just found this story from nov 1. video and print from organge county florida about so called "illegal" flyers without disclaimers, supporting a tea party candidate.

http://www.wftv.com/video/25598735/index.html (annoying ad first)

The tv station and reporter kathi belich, made a defamatory and false claim that the flyers were illegal.
The orange county elections supervisor's office was the scene of the video, but might not be directly involved in the false allegations. I've written to Lawson printing, who produced the flyer, for comment, will update if I hear back.
I have written to the tv station, requesting a retraction.

A Guetzloe update:

video map shows american voting patterns (red versus blue) over past 100 years.

Well, by thanksgiving, most of the votes are counted. a few racesare still in the recount phase. new york, for example, doesnt know yet if it's senate will be gop or dem. The CA AG's race is almost done, and in Alaska it's pretty clear Murkowski was re-elected by write-in. 6 state legislators, 3 in alabama, have switched parties.
No US senators have done so.
Tom DeLay, after a 5 year delay, was convicted by a Texas jury of money laundering for receiving campaign contributions. An appeal is expected.

http://www.uncoveredpolitics.com has some very good coverage of minor party and independent candidates election results from tonight.

protip:
Rand Paul is named after Ayn Rand who is named after the Rand Institute, which is named after R & D. The rand is also a unit of currency, e.g. the krugerrand - Rand's dad is a hard money guy.

I predicted I would be beat 2-1, with about 3% going to a third candidate.
I predicted 6000 to 3000 to 300.
In early returns, those numbers are about right.
Day, John J. (Democratic) ................................1367
Dijak-Robinson, Paul (Libertarian) .....................86
Stewart, Robbin (Republican) ............................594

STATE REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 100
Vote for 1
(WITH 30 OF 30 PRECINCTS COUNTED)
JOHN J. DAY (DEM). . . . . . . . 4,491 64.55
ROBBIN STEWART (REP). . . . . . . 2,174 31.25
PAUL DIJAK-ROBINSON (LIB) . . . . . 292 4.20

2% worse than I expected, and with lower turnout.
