Well, by thanksgiving, most of the votes are counted. a few racesare still in the recount phase. new york, for example, doesnt know yet if it's senate will be gop or dem. The CA AG's race is almost done, and in Alaska it's pretty clear Murkowski was re-elected by write-in. 6 state legislators, 3 in alabama, have switched parties.
No US senators have done so.
Tom DeLay, after a 5 year delay, was convicted by a Texas jury of money laundering for receiving campaign contributions. An appeal is expected.
