Burris, 71, young by senate standards, not only will now be sworn in, but might try to keep the seat once in. He'd applied only as a caretaker till the 2010 election, but then they tried to keep him out.
He said Monday that no decision had been made about whether he would seek to win the seat by election in two years. NYT
